Florida Angels Hosts Inaugural Event, Igniting Central Florida’s Innovation Ecosystem

ORLANDO, FL – September 18, 2025

Florida Angels officially launched its mission to unite visionary investors, entrepreneurs, and mentors at our first-ever event, marking a major step forward in fueling Central Florida’s innovation economy.

The evening brought together business leaders, startup founders, and community partners to celebrate bold ideas and showcase the power of collaboration. Guests experienced firsthand how Florida Angels is creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to access mentorship, funding, and networks that accelerate growth while keeping philanthropy at the heart of the mission.

A Platform for Bold Entrepreneurs

Featured were some of the most promising founders, including:

  • Captiva Spirits Inc. – a craft spirits brand bringing innovation to a traditional industry,
  • NESTRE – a human performance and wellness company using science-backed tools to unlock potential,
  • Docklyne a fast-growing platform transforming boat rentals into a seamless digital experience, and
  • NaviSavi – a video-first travel discovery app redefining how travelers and brands connect.

Each entrepreneur reflected the spirit of innovation that Florida Angels is designed to support — scalable businesses that redefine industries, create jobs, and strengthen Florida’s long-term economic resilience.

Community Backing & Sponsorships

The event was made possible by the generous support of Capital Q Ventures and Cogent Bank, whose sponsorship underscores their commitment to building a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in our region. Their partnership ensures that Central Florida’s entrepreneurs have the resources and connections they need to succeed.

Looking Ahead

This inaugural event was just the beginning. Florida Angels will host ongoing pitch competitions, educational bootcamps, and exclusive member gatherings designed to empower both investors and founders. With veteran entrepreneurs also at the center of our mission, we’re working to ensure those who served our nation have the mentorship, funding, and community support needed to thrive in business.

One guest shared,

“It couldn’t have been a better experience with the hosting, connection time, and format of the pitch and Q&A. Bravo!”
